The Quantum Technology and Applications Laboratory at Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) conducts research and development in emerging quantum technologies, with a focus on translating quantum science into practical applications.

Our research covers three main directions:

  • Quantum Security: Research on secure communication and information technologies for the post-quantum era, including Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Random Number Generation (QRNG), and quantum communication networks. The research covers security analysis, experimental implementation, and integration with existing communication systems.
  • Quantum Sensing: Research on quantum-enabled sensing and precision measurement, including quantum sensors, quantum metrology, quantum imaging, and quantum interferometry. The research explores applications in telecommunications, navigation, healthcare, environmental monitoring, industrial systems, and security.
  • Quantum Computing: Research on quantum computing algorithms, software, and applications, including quantum algorithms, quantum simulation, quantum machine learning, optimization, and quantum error mitigation. The Laboratory explores both quantum and hybrid quantum-classical approaches for practical computational problems.

The Laboratory aims to advance research, experimental development, and practical applications of quantum technologies, while fostering collaboration with academic, research, and industry partners.
