The Department of Science, Technology Management and International Cooperation proudly announces to all departments, staff, lecturers, and researchers of Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology regarding the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED) launching its funding plan for science and technology tasks under the Australia – Vietnam Science, Technology, and Innovation Cooperation Initiative (AVSTICI) in 2026. The program aims to promote research cooperation between science and technology organizations in Vietnam and Australia, while strengthening research, innovation, and technology transfer capabilities in both nations.
According to information from NAFOSTED, the program is implemented under the Selection Cooperation Framework for joint research tasks, which was signed by the Vietnamese and Australian sides in May 2026, laying the groundwork for funding bilateral collaborative research projects in priority fields.

Proposals participating in the program must be built upon substantial cooperation between the Vietnamese research team and the Australian partner, aiming to generate international-quality research outcomes that are applicable and contribute to the development of science, technology, and innovation in both countries.
The Institute encourages scientists, lecturers, and research groups to proactively review the announcement details and develop task proposals that align with the Institute’s research orientations and the program’s priority areas.
