On February 4, 2026, at the Hanoi Campus, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) welcomed a delegation from the Connected Universal Experiences Labs (CUE Labs), under the University of Santiago de Cali (Colombia), representing the Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions. The delegation was led by Dr. Xun Luo – Director of CUE Labs. From PTIT, Prof. Dr. Tu Minh Phuong – Chairman of the Institute Council, along with representatives from the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, the Department of Science Management and International Cooperation, the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, and other specialized units, attended and worked with the delegation.

During the meeting, both sides discussed and agreed on collaborative directions for implementing joint research and pilot projects, focusing on advanced technological fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Twins. The partnership aims to develop practical application solutions for smart city management, telecommunications infrastructure optimization, and real-world challenges in digital transformation.
In addition to research activities, both sides placed special emphasis on human resource development through student exchange programs, the organization of international scientific conferences, and the co-development of joint training and research programs. Through these initiatives, PTIT students and faculty members will have the opportunity to access international academic environments, broaden their global mindset, and enhance their research and innovation capabilities.

As part of the program, the CUE Labs delegation toured PTIT’s facilities, laboratories, and technological infrastructure dedicated to training and research. The delegation highly appreciated the Institute’s methodical investment in building a modern learning and research environment that meets the requirements for implementing international collaborative projects and academic activities.
