The Women in Technology & Innovation Awards represent a cornerstone initiative of the Australia-Vietnam Strategic Technologies Centre, designed to recognize and empower exceptional female students and scientists who demonstrate outstanding potential in strategic technologies and STEM fields.

 

This prestigious program granted 20 awards to talented women working in cutting-edge areas including 5G/6G technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, Quantum Technologies, and Semiconductors. Each recipient received not only financial support, but also invaluable mentorship opportunities with world-leading experts throughout their academic careers.

 

The awards align with the symposium’s commitment to Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles, championing female talent to inspire the next generation of women leaders in innovation and technology across Vietnam, Australia, and globally. Recipients were selected based on their demonstrated or potential contributions to emerging technologies, with successful candidates participating in the symposium’s hands-on industry training, networking sessions, and collaborative research discussions.
